Superior Support Resources improves the operational efficiency of its client company by deploying a hyperconverged infrastructure with StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA)
CHALLENGE
Before deploying StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), the client company of Superior Support Resources relied on HPE StoreVirtual storage in a heterogeneous environment with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and Proxmox. With StoreVirtual reaching end-of-life and no longer supported, the client required a cost-effective two-node highly available solution compatible with existing workloads.
Superior Support Resources evaluated StorMagic, Open-E, HPE, Dell EMC, and NetApp, but needed a platform that balanced affordability, simplicity, and reliable high availability for SMB deployments.
The ease and cost of StarWind HCI Appliance deployment was a win-win situation for us, streamlining our infrastructure deployment projects, as well as being kind to our clients’ pocketbooks.

SOLUTION
Superior Support Resources deployed StarWind HCI Appliance to create a two-node cluster and implement a hyperconverged infrastructure with built-in storage virtualization and synchronous replication. The solution ensures continuous data availability and automatic failover between nodes, removing single points of failure. It leverages local storage for performance while maintaining data consistency across the cluster.
Centralized management and remote support capabilities allow SSR to efficiently operate the environment, reducing administrative overhead and enabling scalable, cost-effective infrastructure delivery for the client.
