StarWind Management Console: vSphere Web Plug-in Installation Guide

StarWind Management Console vSphere Web plugin provides a possibility to manage StarWind-based infrastructure from the vSphere Web Client.

This guide describes the installation process of the StarWind Management Console vSphere Web plugin.

The installation requires the deployment of StarWind Web Management Appliance (SWMA) or Gateway Virtual Machine (StarWind Management Console Thin Client).

First, the IP address or hostname of either SWMA or gateway VM must be entered in the web browser to open the Setup StarWind vCenter Plugin page. There, vCenter IP address, vCenter Administrator account, and the e-mail must be specified to install the plugin.

Next, the IP address or hostname of either SWMA or Gateway VM must be entered in the web browser and the security certificate must be accepted.

After the installation of the plugin, StarWind Management button can be selected on the vSphere Web Client home page.

After configuration is finished it will be possible to use all the StarWind Management Console features from vSphere Web Client.
