StarWind shortlisted for SVC Awards


Middleton, MA – October 13, 2016 – StarWind, a pioneer of virtualization, has been included into the short list for SVC Awards.

StarWind is an innovative virtualization provider, which has been on the market for 11 years already. It was among the first to offer software-defined storage (in 2005) and hyperconvergence (2008). In 2015, the company shifted from a software-only to hardware vendor. It released HyperConverged Appliance and has become one of the first vendors at all to offer hyperconvergence to small and middle businesses.

SVC Awards honours products and companies in cloud, virtualization and storage sectors. StarWind was nominated for Hyper-convergence Solution of the Year and Hyper-convergence Company of the Year and has been included into the short list for both categories. Now comes the next stage of the contest – the public voting, and according to its results the winner will be selected.
