StarWind VSA Preview Edition
StarWind Software announces StarWind Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA), which provides a full blown iSCSI SAN running as a virtual machine. A virtual SAN appliance is the ideal solution for remote offices, virtualized desktops, offsite data replication, testing and development environments or any storage project where a dedicated SAN is overkill.
StarWind VSA provides a highly available storage for VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V (and Citrix XenServer in future releases). StarWind VSA fully supports the iSCSI storage protocol so your centralized, networked storage can be configured on an existing IP network without any complexities. StarWind VSA works with any hard drive type supported by your hypervisor: SAS, SATA, SCSI.
