CHALLENGE

Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), LGL Recycling & Affiliated Companies relied on a Dell PowerVault MD3200i storage system running on VMware ESXi, which had grown increasingly archaic, costly to maintain, and overly complex for the company’s evolving operational needs. As business demands increased, the limitations of the existing setup became a serious bottleneck.

Managing performance, storage scalability, and redundancy required considerable time and resources. Upgrading within the same ecosystem proved too expensive and complicated. LGL Recycling & Affiliated Companies started exploring alternatives that could offer simplicity, scalability, and reliability without breaking the bank.
