Northeast Security Bank ensures uninterrupted banking operations by modernizing its IT infrastructure with StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA)

CHALLENGE

Before deploying StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), Northeast Security Bank relied on standalone VMware ESXi servers for its IT infrastructure, using a manual virtual machine (VM) replication process to maintain redundancy. The organization followed a cycle of replacing one of its three hosts every three years, moving the second-oldest host to the disaster recovery (DR) site, and decommissioning the oldest.

However, this setup had significant drawbacks. The DR process was inefficient, requiring manual restoration of VMs from one host to another, which could take hours. Additionally, finding a
highly redundant yet cost-effective solution was challenging.

With StarWind, our infrastructure works great right now. The specs of the host are exactly what we needed, without a ton of expense. The software has worked as it should, and the support, when I needed them, has been great.
