StarWind works well, has a pretty much set-up.

Before StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN) deployment, an IT infrastructure of Synergium consisted of a two-node Hyper-V cluster with a physical SAN running all HDDs and several standalone servers. A major concern of the company was related to a single point of failure (SPOF) presented by a SAN implementation. With no high availability and fault tolerance, the entire IT infrastructure was subject to collapse in the event of a SAN failure. SPOF put in jeopardy not only the performance of the IT infrastructure but also the security and business continuity of Synergium in general. Trying to find a solution to its problem, the company turned its attention to software-defined storage, in particular to Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct (S2D). However, after reading reviews and recommendations, Synergium settled on StarWind VSAN. Besides, the price of the StarWind solution turned out to be much more attractive compared to another vendor’s offer.

Synergium gave the crown to StarWind VSAN as it allowed creating the single fault-tolerant and highly available storage pool. The need for an expensive physical SAN has been completely eliminated. In addition, the StarWind solution became central to building a high-availability cluster, which made it possible to solve a SPOF problem. In the process of VSAN installation and configuration, Synergium received detailed answers to all its questions from attentive StarWind Support Team. Thanks to StarWind, the company created a high-performance IT environment at no extra cost.
