Before deploying StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), LIVEBOX, a.s. relied on a Dell EqualLogic SAN with VMware ESXi on top. The aging storage, which was slow and approaching the end of its warranty, jeopardized the performance of mission-critical tasks. The company lacked the redundancy needed to ensure seamless operations and sought to transition to an all-flash storage solution without being tied to vendor-locked hardware.
