CHALLENGE
Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), Cork Supply USA had physical servers with a couple of virtual servers running non-critical roles hosted from a standalone Hyper-V host. Since physical servers were end-of-life, the company was looking for an upgraded enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that would provide simplicity and flexibility in management and bring redundancy to data processing.
CorkSupply USA sought to free up space from the bulk of hardware resources as well. On top of that, the new solution for the IT environment was to be cost-effective.
SOLUTION
Cork Supply USA chose StarWind HCI Appliance due to its simplicity, affordability, and ability to provide the required features. With StarWind, the company could easily transition to current hardware specs and cluster services, addressing the limitations of its old infrastructure.
The deployment of StarWind HCI Appliance transformed Cork Supply USA’s IT infrastructure into a centralized, easily manageable system. The cluster setup allowed for better resource utilization, reduced downtime for maintenance, and enhanced redundancy, meeting all its requirements. The company now enjoys improved efficiency and peace of mind knowing its IT infrastructure is reliable and scalable.
