HA - will mutliple sync channels improve performance

We currently have a 10 Gigabit sync channel between our two HA nodes, but we have a spare 10 Gigabit NIC in each StarWind HA node. We are thinking of using the spare NICs as a 2nd sync channel between the two StarWind Servers. Can we specify using multiple sync channels, and will adding a 2nd 10 Gigabit sync channel improve overall performance?
