I'd suggest doing several steps:
- Break the HA device,
- Mount the images localy,
- Extend their size and format as needed,
- Create a new HA device with the changes applied to the image files.
You should sync the server that was out for some reason for some time, ex. server B was out and came out of sync. You should sync server B. Actually StarWind should give you a tip. if you select a wrong direction - you should get an error message that "Partner server is out of sync". Thanks.

Right now caching is only available for the mirror devices. For other devices it will just not work. One of the next minor releases (5.1 probably) will support caching for other virtual devices.
That's probably the only difference between StarPort and MS. StarPort does not allow multipathing at the moment. However, StarPort allows some advanced features like Mirroring.
We actually allow users chose both the ports and the firewall settings, so, in case one decides to actually choose a different port, we are not hard coding it to the program.
