Thanks Anton, looking forward to NVMe-oF, until then we're disabling iSER and using plain iSCSI :D

Re: iSER_DM.dll causing VSAN to crash

We're phasing out iSER and replacing it with NVMe-oF (both RDMA & TCP) in the next version of StarWind. FYI.

Re: 2 node HyperConverged Hyper-V;no physical Domain Controllers

Virtualized DCs (Domain Controllers) are allowed by Microsoft and actually preferred over physical ones since at least Windows Server 2016.

Re: iSER experimental?

Don't do iSER as it didn't really take off... Newer version of StarWind we'll be releasing next couple of weeks would have NVMe-oF (both RDMA & TCP) which is a better option than iSER now. Stay tuned!

Re: VMFS Datastores failing to create on StarWind VSAN storage

This issue has nothing to do with StarWind itself. Previous versions of VMware vSphere / ESXi didn't support emulated 512 and native 4K blocks, it was native 512 only. New versions don't have this problem anymore. Official statement could be found here: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2091600 "...
