StarWind Software is Published In an Impact Report by The 451 Group, An Independent Technology-Industry Analyst Company.

Burlington, Mass. – April 15, 2009StarWind Software, a global leader in storage virtualization and Open iSCSI SAN software, announces that it has been published in a Impact Report by the 451 Group. This report by storage analyst Simon Robinson provides an overview of the company and an analysis of its business and technology, pointing out that if the iSCSI and virtualization market conditions are favorable then StarWind is a company worth watching.

The 451 Group report mentions iSCSI storage market leaders including EqualLogic, and Lefthand Networks which were acquired by Dell and HP, respectively. Storage analyst Simon Robinson says that like Lefthand, StarWind is building out a "richly featured software stack." The 451 Group report also mentions that StarWind has a well-established, profitable and growing core product, a solid partner base and a low-cost operating model.
