Monitoring and Notification Services
StarWind provides various services for the monitoring of processes taking place in your SAN and timely notification of relevant events. These services make your SAN infrastructure reliable.
StarWind notification system includes:
Pop-up notification
E-mail reporting
System event log
StarWind notification system warns in case of trouble, reports on errors, and informs about any action executed in your SAN (system, Image plug-in, HA plug-in, Mirror plug-in, and CDP plug-in). Event notification rules are simple to set up, and can be easily enabled or disabled.
StarWind monitoring system displays the total performance rates of your SAN with diagrams and statistics tables. Users can check the CPU and/or RAM performance, total IOps, and bandwidth rates by navigating between tabs and changing the source of information.
StarWind also monitors the current storage space utilization, and reports when there is low disk space. This option is especially valuable when used with Thin Provisioning.
