No auto synchronization after restart

Hello,

I have built 2 node HA cluster with lastest version of Starwind v8. One HA storage, all default settings. I tried to simulate full planned outage of both Starwind servers and connected ESXi server. So first I shutdown ESXi and after it both Starwind nodes. Everything in clean way. Then power on in reverse order.

I noticed that Starwind nodes are not synchronized. I waited a few minutes for start auto-synchronization, but it didn't started.

Is it expected behavior? Should I manually start synchronization everytime in similar situation?

More info about that case: my ESXi server cannot re-establish iSCSI connection to HA storage until I manually start synchronization. Starwind storage is completely invisible after planned outage :(

That is actually is one of the cases when the synchronization should be started manually. Next time please refer to the document that you can find by using the link below:
