target error when I add a portal

Postby willgart » Tue Mar 10, 2009 10:31 pm

Hi,

I have just installed my new starwind server.
I have connected 1 server successfully for testing.

then I remove the testing disk on the starwind server and create my final one.
the new disk is not displayed on my initiator server
so I remove and add again the portal
and now I receive this message: "target error"
this message appears on all my server when I try to add a portal!!!

also I have setup the iSNS server in starwind, but the starwind server is not listed in the registered targets.
rebooting all my servers don't solve the issue!!!
reinstalling starwind too, no more results.

any idea?

Hello,

We would need to take a look at the log files to investigate this.

Please submit the request to support@starwindsoftware.com and attach the log files from C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind\logs

Thanks,
Rob
