Starwind iSCSI only working with one ESX 3.5U4

Postby novell1 » Sun May 17, 2009 6:56 pm

Hi,
I installed Starwind on a w2k3 server as a service, and like to access with 3 ESX PC's.
I can connect and access from one PC (ESX)to the iSCSI Target, but not with the other ESX's.
All of them have the same Network configuration!
When I shutdown the working ESX, and start one of the others with resan and restart starwind, thenthe service its working! But always only 1 ESX!
Never I get all together ESX'es working!
Did I have something not configured?

Thanks for your help!!!!

Hello Novell1,

This looks like a licensing issue, or an issue with clustering option. Please send the log files from C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind\logs\ to support@starwindsoftware.com

Thanks,
Rob

Hi,

There can be several reasons for this issue.
1. Not properly configured clustering option on the Target.
2. The entire target or some files on the target reserved by some other process or application.
3. Licensing.

In every particular case we need to take a look at it and analyze the root cause.

So, we would like to ask you to send us the log files (see above post).

Thanks
Rob
