Event Log ID List

Postby camealy » Tue Feb 15, 2011 2:23 pm

We were looking to get Starwind status monitored in our MSP software and it looks like with 5.6 we will b able to!

Could I get a list of the Event Source and Event ID's for everything that Starwind would log as a Warning or Failure?

Thanks!

Here is a list of events that can be generated by StarWind 5.6.
We have notifications on errors (and some non-critical events) for major StarWind device types:
HA, Mirror, ImageFile, CDP/Snapshots.
System: StarWind virtual device adding, removing, fail on adding.
HA: Self status and partner status change (synchronized, synchronizing, not synchronized).
Mirror device: active/passive mirror errors, active mirror switching, synchronization (started/finished).
CDP/Snapshots: journal switch command, journal switching completed/failed.
ImageFile: error opening underlying file.

Great, thanks. Anyway we could get an actual Event ID number for the warnings/failures?
