No device types available?

After installing the latest version of StarWind free over an old version (4.1) I can no longer create new targets. After entering a target name and selecting "Hard disk" as the storage type, the next screen shows all device types with a lock icon. I tried uninstalling, deleting the StarWind program directory and re-installing. No luck. Is there some sort of registration or dummy license installation required to enable device types for the free version?
