make drives show up as removable devices

Is there any way to trick windows into seeing a AOE device as a removable device? Problem is my backup software is not designed to treat locally attached disks as media that can be removed. So if I could make an aoe disk look like a USB attached or removable disk it would be VERY helpful.

I don't think this is possible considering the entire scope of AoE devices.
