iSCSI Initiator does not save adding drives

Postby nikropol » Tue Apr 12, 2011 11:39 pm

ISCSI Initiator installed on win 2003, for him to connect 2 iSCSI disk. After the reboot, the configuration is empty and I need to add drives again.
In what may be the problem?

Have you checked in "Automount" checkbox?
Is StarPort running under Administrator account?

I use chap authentication, it "Automount" checkbox is not active. And in the properties of the disks this check box is not active too. Yes I am working as admin then setup makes using a terminal server.

Actually you need to use Automount, and everything will work as you wanted to.

When I choose CHAP authentication "Automount" check box becomes inactive. If I select only "Automount" connection is not happening because on target using CHAP.

That is correct, you can use one of two - Automount or CHAP. That is caused by the CHAP technology that is used to increase security.
