Disable automount

Postby gianluweb » Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:13 am

When automount is checked and drive is mounted there's not a way to uncheck the flag (is grayed), so at every reboot the drive is mounted and the only way is to force dismount (cutting all open handle?).

There's another way?

thanks

bye

Edit registry I guess. But again, are you using StarPort or StarWind iSCSI initiator?

The best workaround is to turn the drive offline, disconnect it and connect back with automount disabled.
